About webrings, 'Siterings' and the Ringlink Program |

What is a webring? A webring, as the name applies, is a way that allows people to surf through websites sharing a common theme.
Surfers navigate the webring by clicking on the "next", "previous", or "random" links as found on a webring's navpanel (which is displayed somewhere on each of that webring's member websites). The idea is that if anyone continually pressing the "next" link on the navpanel, will eventually end up at the starting website. The reason for being referred to as a "webring". Each webring is created and maintained by a person known as a ringmaster. A well run webrings deliver a highly targeted visitors to a site. This is because the people surfing the ring are looking for sites pertaining to the ring's topic. Can ringmasters customize their rings? Yes, ringmasters can customize their rings. What specifically can be included in a webring's navpanel? The navpanel can include whatever the ringmaster wishes to include. It can be images, links, tables, or anything else that they would wish to see included. What are the commands that can be used to navigate the webring? The Ringlink program that powers Siterings supports the following:

About Siterings© The Siterings is a webring system powered by the Ringlink Webring Program. Siterings welcomes webmasters to create their own webring(s) on a system that is free of advertisements of any kind! It currently supports webring(s) in the following languages: English, French, German, Danish, Dutch, Spanish, Swedish, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, and Turkish. No adult-xxx, illegal, hate, warez and spam rings or sites are permitted. Any such sites and or the entire ring will be immediately deleted. This is not a Link Listing service, but a Webring System. A system that allows visitors to surf a webring using a ring's 'navpanel'. If you are not prepared to host a ring's navpanel on your website, then please do not join any of the rings that are hosted here on Siterings.
